We worked in Turkey, Algeria, Iran, Iraq, India, Sri Lanka, Haiti, Mozambique, Thailand, Indonesia, Lebanon, Jordan Maldives and South Africa.
Our medical volunteers provide medical treatment and our civil and structural engineers inspect buildings to determine their safety. Our psychosocial workers are trained to help survivors deal with the emotional trauma of a disaster.
GRf is a volunteer organization. We rely heavily on donations from the public in order to continue providing these emergency services. Click here to make a secure online donation towards our emergency fund.
To sensitize GRf to local culture and beliefs, we work in co-ordinated collaboration with local governments and compatible in-country groups where possible.
• To address expressed needs.
•
• Severe trauma can lead to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, PTSD. This can be prevented with oversight by both GRf and Local Psychiatrists and Psychologists.
• We are preparing to assist people in Turkey and Syria, after the devastation left by the 2023 earthquake.
