In December we revisited camps in Iraq. A previous visit was so overwhelming &#8211; hearing people&#8217;s experiences who lost everything. They lost their families, business, possessions, even their documents and sadly even hope. They cannot return to their homes, even if by a miracle, peace should arrive<\/p>\n<p>They cannot return to their homes, even if by a miracle, peace should arrive today. The enemy even planted bombs in the cities they captured. We then bought and distributed blankets and food parcels. I noticed the traumatized children showed little emotion, even when receiving gifts. We saw thousands of people in white tents. The camps are very well<\/p>\n<p>We saw thousands of people in white tents. The camps are very well organized, clean, with an education system with school classes, even daily refuge removal.<\/p>\n<p>This time we build a jungle gym playground and took material for making finger puppets and to do kite flying.
